The Great American State Fair is the centerpiece daytime celebration of America’s 250th anniversary — a 16-day festival on the National Mall running June 25 through July 10, 2026, bringing all 50 states, territories, and federal agencies to Washington, D.C. Millions of visitors are expected.

The Countdown 250 Ball is built for the evening of Independence Eve. Three blocks from the Mall, at the historic Washington Hilton, 3,000 guests will gather for a black-tie celebration that ends with a midnight countdown to the exact instant America enters its 250th year.
